Development of Database System for Pipeline Steel Welding Procedure Qualification

A database for pipeline steel welding procedure qualification is developed based on Visual Basic 6. 0 Chinese Enterprise Edition. With this system, users not only append, update, delete and print the recodes of pipeline steel welding procedure qualification, but also query relative information according to welding method, material and thickness. It also provides a lot of the datum of ordinary welding material, the relative standard of pipeline steel and the administrative information of welders. When technicians design a new pipeline steel procedure, they can seek help for this database system.
