The Determination on Optimized Running Mode of Southern Sichuan Gas Transmission Pipeline Network

  • In allusion to the fast growing of gas throughput at the commissioning condition of Liangfo Parallel Gas Pipeline (167 km in total length), the branch line of Southern Sichuan Gas Transmission Pipeline, the constitution of Chongqing-Naxi pipeline section (consisted of Woliang Pipeline, Shidu Pipeline, Duliang Pipeline, Liangfo Pipeline, 720mm in diameter, Liangfo Parallel Pipeline, 711mm in diameter, Fona Pipeline and Fona Parallel Pipeline) and the characteristics of gas supply from this pipeline section are analyzed in this paper. On the basis of analytical conclusions and comparison of pipeline running modes, the running mode of these pipeline sections at different operating conditions are compared and selected to determine the optimized running mode. The comparison and selection results show that the optimized running mode of the pipeline network mentioned above can utility the capacity of current gas storage and transmission facilities to a great extent, increase the pipeline productivity and effectively solve the contradiction of the pipeline network among the different running modes, in addition, the optimized running mode of the pipeline network can provide a reference base to the northern Erhuan Pipeline Network under construction in running mode.
