Field PPD-benefidated Testing on Lower Throughput Oil Pipeline

  • SanHua Oil Pipeline in Wulumuqi, Xingjiang is at lower throughput operated and in this case the PPD-beneficiated method to increase the oil throughput is put forward. The systematical laboratory and field tests are carried out and the modifying effect is analyzed. It is pointed out that the heating temperature and temperature drop rate of oil should be first determined when selecting PPD, then determined the candidate, in addition, the PPD's concentration has to be determined on the basis of ambient condition and actual pipeline transportation condition.
