Influence of Temperature and Pressure on Dynamic Metering of Standard Volume of Crude Oil

  • The custody transfer metering in large-scale oilfield is generally characterized by continuous metering, huge volume and high accuracy. In tight and pressured pipeline, the metering temperature and pressure will directly impact the metering results for the standard volume of crude oil, which influences the net volume's settlement and involves in the profits of the two parties. The authors consider that the influence of temperature and pressure to the metering of standard volume of crude oil should be emphasized because of huge volume, especially in large-scale crude oil custody transfer station.
