Thermal Calculation during Starting Transportation of Hot Crude Oil Pipeline

The technology of starting transportation of hot crude oil pipeline is investigated based on the mathematic model for thermal calculation established and the calculation software programmed. The calculation and analysis on actual case are carried out. The results show that it is more scientific and accurate to determine the time of starting transportation of crude oil according to the thermal equilibrium principle, which establishes a base for starting transportation of hot oil pipeline in safe and economic way.
