The Development of Injection and Production System Software of Gas Storage Cavern in Salt Formation

This paper presents a coupling mathematical model and a solution method based on regarding well-bore, cavern of natural gas storage cavern in salt formation and salt formation around cavern as a system. The model describes the injection and production performance of gas storage cavern in salt formation. At the same time, its corresponding numerical calculation software is developed. The calculation software can be used to design and plan gas storages, go on comparison in various operations of gas storage projects, and judge the dangerous range in that hydrate will be created, etc.
