In-line Calibration of Flowmeter

The characteristics, operating principle and operation procedure of double-directional standard prover used to in-line calibrate flowmeter are introduced. This paper analyzes the major factors influencing the inline calibration results of flowmeter. It is pointed out that the reliable calibrating results can be obtained by the effective control of calibration environment, suitable selection of temperature and pressure measuring instruments and accurate reading of temperature and pressure parameters.
