The Analysis Method on the End Section of Storage Capacity of Gas Pipeline

On the base of established steady analysis method of complicated gas pipeline, the analysis method of storage capacity of gas transmission pipeline is established. According to pressure constraints of the start and end point and steady flux, this method can determine gas storage capacity in the end section of pipeline and the demand of hour peak shaving with underground natural gas storage. This method, which is convenient and practical, can analyze the process of complex gas pipeline network, determine the capacity of gas storage and peak shaving and forecast and judge the capacity of gas storage and peak shaving before the transient analysis as well.Resultsof this method agreed well with those of SPS system. It can be applied in predicting the storage capacity and is of importance in practical application, specially in the stage of feasibility study and design of gas pipeline.
