Status quo in Heavy Oil Gathering Technology of Liaohe Oilfield and Its Development Trend

This paper analyzes the physical property of heavy oil in Liaohe Oilfield and summarizes the surface oil gathering processes suitable to this heavy oil, such as single-pipe heating, viscosity reduction by oil blending, centralized treatment of oil, cracking-viscosity reduction-production/gathering/transportation technique and super-viscosity oil, reducing viscosity emulsifying, also including some dehydration process of the heavy oil. It is pointed out that the scientific and technological study should be carried out in 5 aspects (increase the tightness rate of heavy oil gathering system and dehydration temperature of heavy oil etc.) to keep up the leading position in heavy oil gathering and treatment technology in the world.
