The Comparison and Selection on Water Filling Method for Newly-built Pipeline

The characteristics and suitability of single-point and multiple-point water filling method for newly-built liquid pipeline are introduced. The authors analyze and compare the water filling methods combined with the pipeline route and actual geology for Lanzhou-Chengdu-Chongqing Products Pipeline. It is pointed out that the single-point water filling method is suitable for the pipeline located at the sharp elevation and hills.
