The Application of Partial Cathodic Protection Technology in Gas Transmission Station

This article introduces the technical characteristics of CP used in gas transmission station, design of partial CP and its test results combined with the application of partial CP technology in ShanWu Gas Transmission Pipeline. The problems existed in interference and shielding in the application of CP technology are analyzed. The relative improvements including decreasing and eliminating the interference and shielding are made, which ensures the successful application of CP technology in gas transmission stations of gas pipeline.
