The Determination on Total Heat Transfer Coefficient of Pipeline Coated with Foam Thermal Insulation

  • JinHui Oil Pipeline is 216.65 km in total length with 377 mm×6 mm in diameter, coated with foam thermal insulation with 30 mm in thickness. To take the construction of intermediate heating station and pumping station together into account, two calculation techniques are used for total heat transfer coefficient (K value) and obtained the selected K value for the pipeline in loess aria, which provides a reliable base for economic operation and energy saving of oil pipelines.
