Improvement on Truss Overhead Crossing Design for Zhongxian Wuhan Gas Transmission Pipeline

  • This paper describes the improvement on the truss overhead crossing design scenario for Zhongxian Wuhan Gas Transmission Pipeline. The improvement of truss structure includes the load hypotenuse, cross sectional type, section height and thickness of pipe. The improved truss pipeline bridge structure is more rational in stressed type with light and practical use and easy to construct, Based on the successful design experiences and relevant theory, the authors put forward the suggestion that the square steel pipe connection and combination patterns should be adopted in the design of truss pipeline bridge.
