Feasibility of Storage and Transportation of Gas Hydrate

In this paper, the process of hydrate sludge production and its application in transportation system of natural gas in regions lack of infrastructures of natural gas transportation are described. Market potential of natural gas transportation is discussed, experiment research results obtained from stable hydrates produced from reactor stirred continuously are provided. Finally the design complexity of the production process, the holistic economical objectivity and the challenges such technology faced before commercialization are discussed.
