Test and Analysis on Sediment in Lanzhou-Chengdu-Chongqing Products Pipeline

  • In allusion to the sediment produced in Lanzhou-Chengdu-Chongqing Products Pipeline, the test and analysis on the sediment are carried out, aiming at knowing the constitution, component and hazards of the sediment to the pipeline. The test on the organic matter and inorganic matter is made. The test and analysis results show that the ferric oxide takes 69.7% of total amount in the sediment, which is main reason of filter plugging. According to the analytical results, the effective analysis method on the sediment is summa- rued, and the improvement measures to eliminate the filter plugging is put forward.
