Technique to Reduce the Metering Error in Crude Oil Custody Transfer Metering

The dynamic metering of crude oil is a major way for the custody transfer of oil，in which the volumetric flowmeter is main metering tool. From the error resource, this paper emphatically analyzes the cause that the metering error produces in the process of crude oil metering with this flowmeter,and discusses the necessity of insulating the prover, installing the automatic sampler and automatic water cut analyzer.
