Construction Technique in Mountainous Area for West-to-East Pipeline Project
The new construction technique and method of pipeline in mountainous area applied in West-to-East Pipeline Project are presented. This paper summaries the solutions in such area including pipe towing stringing, river crossing, pipe welding, water test and pipeline dying. The paper emphasis some problems to be focused on in similar pipeline construction.
