Forward Transportation and Reverse Pumping Experiment on PPD-benefitedOil in RenJing Oil Pipeline

Forward transportation and reverse pumping experiment (FT/RP) on PPD-benefited Oil in RenJingOil Pipeline is made.The test results show that the forward transportation and reverse pumping technique will not obviously lower the PPD's effectiveness when the temperature of PPD-benefited oil meets the requirements that the experiment determined.The effective inner diameter of pipeline is estimated based on the temperature and throughput of oil varied the flowing direction.The minimum throughput of pipeline required for one—direction PPD-benefited oil transportation is calculated on the basis of equivalent heat transfer coefficient and the effectiveness of flowability for modified oil.The initial economic comparison is carried out for the pipeline operation on the FT/RP—based way.
