Determination on Route Scenario for Lanzhou-Chengdu-Chongqing Products Oil Pipeline

The comparison and selection are made on the overall trend and design scenarios of different pipelinesections for Lanzhou-Chengdu-Chongqing Products Oil Pipeline. The optimal routing design scenario is determined based on the comparison and selection results. A case analysis on the route selection for the most complicated pipeline section is carried out. It is pointed out that the pipeline route selection of Lanzhou-Chengdu-Chongqing Products Oil Pipeline in design should be integrated the mountainous pipeline route into tunnel, which can overcome the difficulties of pipeline construction and ensure the safety of the pipeline route.
