Development and Application of YH-901 Gas Phase Corrosion Inhibitor in Gas Compressor Station

A gas phase corrosion inhibitor, YH-901 inhibitor, is developed to apply to some gas compressor system and gas transmission pipeline network. The test measurement method of the inhibitor and field testing are described. The economic comparison between corrosion plans show that the corrosion of sulphide and carbon dioxide to compressing machineries and pipeline networks can be inhibited and the corrosion rate can also be lowered.
