Simulating Experiment of Control Mode, Flame Behavior and Zoned Phenomena for Fire in Underground Oil Depot

Abstract
The zoned phenomenon of the fire in an underground oil depot is introduced and the control mode, the flame behavior and main influence factors of the fire combustion in an underground oil depot are introduced in this paper also. The special zoned phenomena are indicated throw the simulating experiment. The fire zones are generally divided into five zones: flame zone, high temperature thermal plumes zone, fresh air supplement zone, transitional zone and"inert zone". The fire zones in the underground oil depot with the upside and lower ones are divided into four zones: flame zone, high temperature thermal plumes zone, fresh air sup-plement zone and"inert zone". And the mechanism to cause the phenomenon and the factors to influence the phenomena are analyzed briefly in the paper.
