Finite Element Intensity Analysis for Large Oil Tank
Finite element analysis method is used to analyze a 12.5× 104 m3 large floating roof oil tank with the topmost hydraulic state and the stress distribution of all parts is obtained. The pressure vessel analysis design code is used to assess the tank's stress and the result indicates that all parts of the tank is safe. The analysis provides the technology support for the use of the tank.
