Some Considerations in Oil Tank Farms design for the Slopping Topographies

  • There are many oil tank farms or oil-gathering farms built in the mountainous regions or slopping topographies. According to tank farm design in this kind of region, the problems needed to particularly consider are put forward. On the basis of particularities of these oil tank farms, some methods and qualifications which meet the minimum potential difference are mentioned, including guiding principles for the design of main oil pipeline and so on. Those methods or considerations will be guiding significances to the designers to carry on collectivity scheme and establish main technological process of oil tank farms under this topography condition.
