Fire Accident Analysis of Golmud-Lhasa Products Pipeline and Fire Control

The case analysis on 4 fire accidents in Golmud-Lhasa Products Pipeline is made. To minimize the fire possibility, several countermeasures against fire are presented, including estab lishing and improving the fire control regulations and systems, necessary staff education and training on safety management and fire con-trol for products oil, regular exercise of fire control, inspection on suitability of pipeline and facilities, as well as safety and protection on pipeline and tankfarm and protection relying on the society.
