Waxy Crude's Gelling around the Gel Points

  • The viscoelastic parameters of waxy crude as storage module, loss module and loss angle can character-ize the crude's inner structure, which changing with temperature around the gel point can describe crude's gelling characteristic. To study the gelling characteristics of different waxy crudes around the gel point and how they effect on hot pipelines'safety, the viscoelasticity of some waxy crudes as Daqing, Zhongyuan, Shenglii crude and Daqing, Zhongyuan, Shengli pourt point depressed (PPD) beneficiated crudes have been studied contrastively based on the viscoelastic experiments.
