Simulation Technology and its Application for Oil Pipeline

With the ever growing application of pipeline simulation technology, the introduction of simulation software is made by many companies. Basic theory of pipeline simulation software, which mainly consists of mathematical model and numerical solution, is systematically explained in this paper. Modern pipeline simu-lation technology and its development trend are also introduced. This paper lists some of international com-mercial software widely used at present. The proposals are put forward for developing oil pipeline software by self-research way.
