Rational Determination on Wax Pigging Period in Qinhuangdao Beijing Oil Pipeline

The change law that the cost of fuel oil and power consumed increases with the wax pigged days in Qinhuangdao—Beijing Oil Pipeline is analyzed on the basis of theoretical calculation results and statistical analysis results of actual operation parameters by means of taking the cost of fuel oil and power needed to transport relative crude oil as an objective function. According to the analytical results, safe, economic and rational wax pigging period for the pipeline is determined.
