Compressor unit configuration for the Compressor Stations of West-to-East Gas Pipeline Project

Compressor unit configuration is the key technique in the compressor stations design. Based on the experience of design of West-to-East Gas Pipeline Project (WEGPP), the article describes the comparison of compressor driving methods, key factors considered on the configuration of compressor unit. Two centrifugal compressor units are configured on one station of the WEGPP, and one operation on standby, which will give some helps or references to the other gas pipeline project.
