The Configuration of Compressor Station for West-to-East Gas Pipeline Project

Compressor station configuration is the key technique in the large-scale gas pipeline project design.Based on the design experience of West-to-East Gas Pipeline Project (WEGPP), the article describes the backup method of compressor unit in the compressor station, the comparison of different compressibility ratio scheme, and the key factors considered on the configuration of compressor station. At the same time it analyzes the adaptability of compressor station to increase the capacity and the effect of internal coating applied for the transportation capacity.
