Energy Saving Analysis on Crude Oil Blending Transportation for Eastern Pipeline Networks

  • The Eastern Pipeline networks consist of 14 pipelines, including Donghuang Parallel Pipeline, GuangQi Pipeline, JiaoQing Pipeline (in shut down), DongLin Parallel Pipeline, LuNing Pipeline, YiJin Pipeline, LinJi Pipeline, CangLin Pipeline, Cang-Sinopec Pipeline, CangHe Pipeline, HeShi Pipeline, CangJin Pipe-1ine。LinPu Pipeline and ZhongLuo Pipeline.According to the operation actualities of the networks, the feasibility on blending transportation of crude oils (domestic crude oil and imported crude oil) with the partial pipeline of the network is analyzed.Take the LuNing and CangLin Pipeline as an example, analysis and comparison on the profits of blend transportation are carried out.It is pointed out that the blend transportation is not only feasible in energy saving, but also bright and wide application for the technology itself with the increasing demand for imported crude oil in domestic oil market.
