Technical and Economic Analysis on Different Pipe Diameters' Transportation Scenario for Long Distance Oil Pipeline

  • Tianjin-Bejing Oil Pipeline, with the capacity of 325×104 t/a, is 185 km in total length. To meet the needs of transportation proeess and reduce operating cost, three oil transportation scenarios under different pipe diameters are described and investment and cost of the scenarios are calculated based on the hydraulic analysis. The authors compare the scenarios with expense present value method, and consider that between pipe diameters in ϕ323.9×6, ϕ377 and ϕ426, ϕ377 oil transportation scenario is the best one.
