The morphology of crystals of crude oil is one of the most important factors for the oil's rheology. The researches on the morphology of crystals are summarized briefly, and the work on morphology using cryotecnique by Moussa is emphasized. It is pointed out that more researches are needed to develop a mechanistic rheological model of the crude oil.
