Study on Technological Parameter of Induction Heating Bend in West-to-East Gas Transmission Project

  • The mechanical property and change regularity of metallographic structure of X70 induction heating bend during different production process are studied with thermal simulation technology. The authors evaluate the metallographic and property characteristics of bend and reveal the relationship between the process-metallogrophy-property, which can provide the optimized process parameters to bend's production.The results show that the high property's bend can be made when heating temperature is at 950~1050℃, cooling velocity is at 20~40℃/s, insulation time is at 1 minute and temper temperature is at 530℃, and this kind of bend can meet the needs of West-to-East Gas Transmission Project.
