The Technical and Economic Study on High-sulphur Natural Gas Gathering Pipeline Network

In allusion to the corrosion and hydrate plugging during the transmission of high-sulphur natural gas, the technology point in gas gathering system and the measures to prevent hydrate are analyzed from station determination of gathering station, allocation category of gathering pipeline network, the transmission process of dry/wet gas, allocation of emergency block valve room and pipe pigging. In this paper, the authors present a cost-effective gathering process program and corrosion control method, which provide a helpful information to operator in gas field development and production.
