With the increasing demands for gas and oil, pipeline is developing towards high strength, high toughness and excellent field weldability. High strength, long distance, major diameter pipeline are the tendency.This article discusses the welding methods, materials, shielding gas for welding of X80 steel pipe, analyzes the weldability of X80 steel pipe, and lists foreign project cases of X80 steel pipe in the construction of pipelines.
