Failure Analysis on Floating Roof Tank and Overhaul
floating roof tanks, each with the capacity of 100 000 m3 in Puyang pump station of ZhongLuo Pipeline, were put into operation in 1985. Some failures including cracking of tank foundation, corrosion of bottom plates occurred in recent years. In allusion to these failures, tanks' overhaul program is worked out.This paper describes the failure analysis and overhaul experience.
