Geological Property of Adverse Soil Mass in Jianghan Plain and Pipeline Protective Measures

Zhongxian-Wuhan Gas Transmission Pipeline will pass through the Jianghan Plain. The geological property of the adverse soil mass such as expansive oil, soft organic clay and silty and fine sand along the pipeline route is studied and analyzed. It is pointed out that these adverse soil mass potentially hazard the construction of pipeline. The design met the needs of construction of pipeline and protective measures are put forward.
