Corrosion Mechanism of External Coating of Buried Steel Pipeline

  • The anti-corrosion mechanism of external organic coating of buried steel pipeline is introduced. The re- lation between CP and organic coating is analyzed. It is pointed out that 3PE.FBE and LEC (non-solvent type)have different scope of work. For the use of field coating for welded joint, the 100% solid polyure-thane is recommended. The method to enhance the efficiency of external coating is provided.
