Safety Evaluation on Storage and Transportation System of Some Petroleum Tankfarm.

The theory and processes of safety evaluation about the fire hazards of chemical equipments and techniques using the Fire and Explosion Index method of American Dow Chemistry Company are recommended in this paper. According to this theory, a judgment on the chemical equipments and process hazards of Xingmin Chemistry Company in Mawei District, Fuzhou City is made. In the evaluation processes, the economy losses resulted in the tank accidents are forecasted and the approaches of reducing the losses are put forward too.
