Energy Saving Measures and Economic Profits Analysis of Korla-Shanshan Oil Pipeline

The measures in energy saving are summarized and analyzed in Korla Shanshan Oil Pipeline taken from its commissioning till now. Based on the current operation condition of the pipeline, some measures in energy saving are recommended to tak e, (1) to use the process of filling by gravity; (2) to eliminate the heating tr acing of oil tank and (3)to maintain the operation of pump at a low-speed. A qua ntitative analysis on the economic profits obtained from these measures is made.
