Technical Study on the Pipeline Run with Additive at Low-throughput Condition
The oil throughput of WeiJing Oil Pipeline decreases year by year, which may resu lt in operation accident. For this potential problem, a new transportation techno logy with pour point depressant is used. The laboratory selection and assessment on GY-3 PPD to be added to oil are carried out. The result of site test shows t hat the oil throughput of pipeline is successfully reduce d from 5000 t/d to 250 0 t/d.
