Corrosion Analysis and Protection for the Buried Pipeline of Pump Station

An investigation and analysis on the corrosion of buried pipeline in ShanWu Init ial Station of ShanWu Gas Transmission Pipeline is made. Considering the corrosi on characteristics of station pipeline, the protection measures are put forward as follows. (1) to improve the environment to reduce the soil corrosivity, (2)to eliminate the pipe holiday with non-solvent coating material, (3)to substitute the glass fiber reinforced plastics and (4)to control the corrosion of pipe with partial CP technology.
