Waters Crossing of Pipeline with Floating Pulling Method for West-to-East Gas Transmission Pipeiine

This paper introduces the pipeline construction process for waters crossing with floating pulling method first used and construction steps for the West-to-East Gas Transmission Pipeline Project in the area of Yangtze River. This kind of floating pulling method is characterized by short construction term and lower cost. The construction experience can be used as reference for other pipeline project in waters areas.
