The Differences in Fire Control Codes of Gas Tank Farm and Safety Design of Tank

In the light of problems in fire control and safety of gas tank, the conflict between the 《Fire Control Code for Building Design》 and the 《Design Code for Water Spraying Extinguishment System》 in relative regulations are discussed. The conclusions obtained from site investigation, engineering and theory indicate that the fixed cooling equipment for the tank body can not be installed, and water volume around the tank can be reasonably determined through calculation according to the relative requirements in the 《Fire Control Code for Building Design》.
