The Design Key Point on Mountainous Pipeline

Take the construction of Lanzhou-Chengdu-Chongqing Products Pipeline as an example, the paper provides some methods for pipeline built in mountainous areas. In the light of the special terrains and ground features existed in mountainous areas, the design key point on the different wall-thickness design, selection of pipe coating, water draining ways of pipeline, turning point design of pipeline and hydrotechnological protection are given. The importance on hydrotechnological protection of pipeline in mountainous areas is emphasized.
