The Storage Technology of Natural Gas and its Application

The storage technology of natural gas nowadays widely used home and abroad is introduced and the status quo of China's storage technology of natural gas is analyzed, the comparison on the storage technology of natural gas used in foreign countries and China is also made in the article. Based on the developing trend of China's natural gas industry and gas transmission pipeline, it is considered that the construction of underground gas storages should be taken in account when the national gas transmission network is planed. Meanwhile, the LNG industry of China should be further developed and peak-shaving LNG plant should be set up in the cities distant to the gas source.
