A New-type Emergency Drainage Device used in Floating Roof Tank

The emergency drainage device is an important device in floating roof tank, used to drain the overloaded water accumulated on the floating roof to ensure a safety for oil tank. Analysis results show that the old drainage device has shortcomings and easy to fail. In this paper, a new-type emergency drainage device is introduced. This device eliminates the defects in backflow of water/oil and can provide a safety operation condition to oil tank.
