Optimum Operating and Regulation of Batching in Multi-products Pipelines

When products are batched, the variation of flow must generate with the movement of mixed contamination plug in the pipeline, which is decided by the pumping volume, resistance and elevation. Operation optimization in multi-products pipelines is studied, optimizing throughput is crucial for increasing quantity transported, reducing product contamination and energy consumption, and improving operational safety in this paper.
