The Stress Monitoring and Data Analysis in 20 000 m3 Floating Roof Tank Lifting

  • A specially developed lifting monitoring system is used to a 20 000 m3 floating roof tank for the purpose of stress monitoring and data collection. The stress monitored includes vertical force, horizontal force and stress on the tank wall. Based on the data analysis results, the laws of the stress change, distribution and transfer are primarily revealed, which can provide a scientific fundament for tank lifting in scenario and safety.
