Problem Discussion on Equipment of Extinguisher in Tank Farms

In the light of conflict between 《Design Code of Tank Farm》 and《Design and Fire Control Code of Petrochemical Enterprises》in some sentences on the equipment of extinguisher in buildings or structures of tank farm, the author describes the problems existed in these aspects. Based on the daily management requirements of tank farm and fire behavior of petroleum, a discussion on the equipment of extinguisher in tank farm about types of extinguisher, controlling area, protection distance, number of extinguisher e-quipped and installation position is made.
